POW! Programs

Through a variety of hands-on, interactive programs we use craft education as a mechanism to connect people to each other and to a richer understanding of the world around them. Our programs range from public, walk-in street projects to in-depth, extended opportunities in classroom settings.

The POW! TRUCK

In addition to transporting arts material and equipment, the POW! truck is a walk-in gallery that can introduce a broader swath of the public to beautiful and diverse examples of functional handmade ceramics.

ARTIST DEMOS

Having potters work on-site in real time can be an eye-opening experience, as our society tends to make a default assumption that the objects we see and use every day are made by machines or industrial processes.

CUP EXCHANGE

Since we started, we have made and given away more than 3,600 handmade cups. Participants create a cup that will travel to a future event while taking home one made previously by a fellow participant.

STONEPOOL POTTERY CUP FELLOWSHIP

The Stonepool Pottery Cup Fellowship is a biannual opportunity. We will reopen applications on Feburary 2, 2026. Please check back for updates.

If you would like to learn more about our programs or arrange to have the POW! truck stop by your organization, we'd love to hear from you!
